INTRODUCTION
We want to ensure you have the best possible experience with The A Team. To help us achieve this and to clarify our mutual responsibilities, we have outlined the following terms and conditions. The language used should make these terms and conditions as clear as possible. These terms are designed to safeguard the wellbeing of our students and to ensure that the good name of The A Team continues to be associated with high quality teaching and enjoyment of dance.
Please note, failure to comply with these terms may result in refusal of entry to classes. The A Team regularly reviews and updates its terms and conditions and encourages parents and students to review this document periodically. If you have any questions or need further clarification, our team is here to help.
Thank you for being part of The A Team!
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Enrolment & confirmation
1.1 To enrol, you must register via our booking system, Class Manager.
1.2 During registration, you will need to provide contact details, dancer details, and medical information, as well as consent for filming and photography. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.
1.3 If your chosen class is fully booked, your name will be added to a waitlist, and you will be notified when a space becomes available.
1.4 If there is a space available, you will be invoiced for the remainder of the current month and the following month, in line with our subscription terms.
1.5 Full payment is required upfront to secure your place. Until payment is received, the space may be offered to another student.
2. Payments and Fees
2.1 Subscription Classes – To secure your child’s place in our subscription-based classes, payment must be made by uploading your preferred card details to Class Manager. Subscriptions will be automatically taken on 15thof each month.
2.2 Private Lessons – Private lessons are invoiced separately and are not part of the subscription model. Private lessons will be charged based on the number of sessions within the month and will be automatically taken from the card details uploaded to Class Manager on the 1st of each month. Payment will be processed 1 day before the due date.
2.3 Late Payments & Non-Payment – Failure to make payments on time will incur a £10 late fee per invoice. If the late fee is not paid and the student still wishes to keep their space, further late fees will apply. If the payment remains unpaid for 14 days, the student’s class will automatically be cancelled, and the space may be offered to another student. You will still be responsible for the outstanding fees if your class or lesson is cancelled due to non-payment. If you wish to re-join after cancellation, re-enrolment is subject to class availability and may incur an additional re-enrolment fee.
2.4 Invoice Access & Amendments – Customers will not receive email invoices. Instead, you can log into your Class Manager portal to view your subscription or other invoices. For subscription classes, you will be able view your invoice from the 1st of the month. You have until 8th of the month to make amendments; after this, any changes made will still need to be paid and will be reflected in the following month’s subscription fees.
For all other invoices via Class Manager, including private lessons, amendments or cancellations must be requested at least one week before the invoice deadline. After this period, the invoice will still be payable in full. Please note that some event payments may be non-refundable.
2.5 Changes to Payment Amounts or Dates – The A Team reserves the right to adjust amounts or collection dates if necessary. You will be notified in advance via your Class Manager portal of any changes.
2.6 Payment Method – The A Team accepts only payments made via Class Manager using the card details uploaded to your account. Manual payments or bank transfers can be requested but will incur an additional administrative fee of £10 per month to cover processing costs. Manual payments may result in delays, as payments will need to be inputted manually during staff working hours.
2.7 Review of Fees – Fees are reviewed annually and may be changed at any time. If changes are made, you will be notified in advance via your Class Manager portal.
2.8 Price Breakdown – Prices for subscription classes are based on 42 weeks of instruction, pro-rated over 12 months. This may change starting from September 2025 (August fees) when the next season begins.
2.9 Annual Membership Fee – An annual membership fee of £15 per student is required either upon sign-up or every September. This fee covers registration, insurance, and licencing administrative costs.
2.10 Event Payments – Deadline dates will be given for event payments, such as workshops, exams, showcases, and competitions. The A Team will specify the payment method for these events.
2.11 Cash Payments – If The A Team requires a cash payment, it must be handed to a staff member in a sealed envelope with the dancer’s name and the payment’s purpose clearly marked on the front.
2.12 Non-Refundable Payments – All fees and event payments are non-refundable.
3. Cancellation
3.1 Subscription Classes – If you wish to cancel a subscription class for the following month, you must inform us in writing via email to [email protected] before the 8th of current month. Cancellations after this date will not be processed, and you will still be liable for the following months payment.
3.2 Private Lessons & Other Payments – For anything that is not part of the subscription model, we require at least 1 weeks’ notice of cancellation before the deadline. If this notice is not given, the fee will remain payable. Should you provide the 1 weeks’ notice for a Private Lesson, The A Team will do its best to reschedule.
3.3 Minimum Class Size – Any classes with fewer than 5 students in total may be subject to cancellation. In such cases, we will notify you in advance and do our best to accommodate dancer in another class.
3.4 Unattended Lessons – All unattended lessons are still payable. If your child is unable to attend, you are still responsible for the lesson fee.
3.5 Event Cancellations – No refunds will be offered for events and workshops unless cancelled by The A Team. If The A Team cancels an event, we will credit your account.
3.6 Class Cancellation by The A Team – Should a class need to be cancelled due to The A Team being unable to provide an alternate teacher or rearrange the class, your Class Manager account will be credited. Unfortunately, The A Team cannot offer a refund if you are unable to attend the rearranged class unless there is a direct clash with a class you already attend.
3.7 Force Majeure Events – The A Team is unable to provide refunds for any cancellations or missed classes due to a Force Majeure event, which refers to any event beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of God, interruption of power or other utilities, acts of civil or military authority, national emergencies, explosion, flood, accident, earthquake, fire, notifiable disease, war, or riot.
