TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Fees / Payments
· I understand all invoices must be settled within 14 days of receipt.
· Fees are non-refundable and will not be remitted in the event of student’s absence.
· In the event of any classes being cancelled by The Company you will be entitled to a credit or refund.
· Students will not be considered for exams or performances unless fees are fully paid and up to date.
· I understand all workshop/pay as you go classes, (marked as PAYG/* on timetables) must be paid at reception before the commencement of each class. Failure to do so will result in the student being refused participation.
Consent
· Whilst it is kept to a minimum and to ensure safe practice, appropriate physical contact may be necessary within the dance class. By acknowledging our Terms and Conditions you hereby give consent for any teacher from The Company Performing Arts to do so. Any person teaching for The Company Performing Arts is required to complete formal training and undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Please inform us in writing if you do not grant your consent.
· The Company Performing Arts requests permission to use any still and/or moving image of the student, whilst performing with The Company Performing Arts for any of the following uses: advertisements, marketing, social media, or any other use such as for training, educational or publicity purposes or use on website. The filming/photography during classes, rehearsals or performances by parents, carers and other students is strictly prohibited. Your authorisation to use images of your child within this context is therefore requested in accordance with Child Protection Act. Please inform us in writing if you do not grant your consent.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
GDPR means that The Company Performing Arts must;
· Manage and process personal data properly
· Protect the individual’s rights to privacy
· Provide an individual with access to all personal information held on them
The Company is a recognised school with the CDMT and as so, is required to collect and manage certain data, including parent/guardian’s names, addresses, telephone numbers, email addresses alongside students’ full names, addresses, date of birth, medical or SEN requirements. This data is used to ensure the safety of your child whilst in the care of The Company. We may be requested to provide this data to Essex County Council, ISTD, RAD, LAMDA & other authorities for the student to participate in performances and examinations. No data will be sold on to any third party.
