Classes
We reserve the right to change the times of classes or request that the pupils are moved to another class, but we will give notice and try to offer an alternative if possible.Classes will sometimes over run especially around exam and show times. If classes are going to be cancelled for any reason you will be notified by email and a post will be added to our facebook page.
Uniform
Once your child has been attending classes for a few weeks it is necessary that you have ordered the correct uniform.
Hair should always be tied up and jewellery should not be worn.
Photography
Parents/guardians and students are not permitted to take photos or videos without been given prior consent.
Payment and fees
Fees are originally quoted on a per class basis, however they are payable in half term blocks in advance at the end of the half term, unless a prior arrangement has been made. Please note if your child is absent due to holidays, sickness or injury, or a prior engagement the fees are still payable and are non refundable. If fees are are not kept up to date we reserve the right to pass your place onto someone else. If fees are paid late a £10 late fee will be charged.
If your child is absent for over 3 weeks and we are not notified we will assume they are no longer attending classes and their place will be filled. If you decide to stop attending classes you must give notice in writing at the end of a half term. Informing us at the start of a half term or part way through a term that they will not be returning is not sufficient notice. Therefore, you must give written notice in the previous term, if you do not wish to be charged further. If you pay late you will be invoiced a £10 late fee.
Invoices are sent to customers by email 3 weeks before the end of the half term and are payable on the last day of the half term. All dates for the next half term will appear on the invoice.
There is a discount system for those who do 3 or more classes a week, this applies to families not just individual students.
3-4 classes receives 5% discount
5-6 classes receives 10% discount
7 or more classes receives 15% discount
We also have an unlimited access pass for individuals which is £25 a week

Please make sure we have all your contact details up to date on our system. If your details change please notify us asap.
Newsletters
Newsletters and updates are emailed to the registered email address. We also put up dates on our facebook page. It is the parent/guardians responsibility to keep up to date with information sent out.
Sticker books
As a reward system we sell sticker books for the dancers, they are given a sticker after their final class of the week to put in the book. The first sticker book is £1 from then on wards they are £2.50, this includes a sticker book and a certificate. There are 12 stickers to collect in each book and 12 certificates in total.Stickers are only given to those with books otherwise they get dropped in the building.
Keypad entry
All dancers and parents need to use the black side door, there is a keypad entry system. The code is C4680Z. It is essential that everyone closes the door behind them in order for this system to work. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Parking
All customers are welcome to use our car park, if you arrive before the teacher please make sure they have space to park. Under no circumstances should anyone block other cars in and leave the premises. There are many parking bays in High Town which are free evenings and weekends. Please always be courteous to our neighbouring businesses by not parking on their premises or blocking their parking spaces/entrance.
Dropping off and collecting your child
Please escort your child into the building, if you are leaving your child at class please make sure you are in plenty of time to collect them. We are not responsible for their welfare when their class has finished. If someone different is collecting them please let us know. Children aged 5 and under must have an adult in the building during their class. Please do leave children under 10 until their class has begun and they have settled. If you are going to be late collecting your child please let us know immediately.
Waiting area
Please leave the waiting areas as you wish to find them. If any pupils or siblings are found to have caused damage to the area parents will be charged for repairs. Please do not leave the heaters on unnecessarily, if you are the last adult/teenager to leave the room please switch the heaters off. All parents are asked to wait in the waiting room.
Please do not put bags on chairs, keep your belongings tidy and store them underneath the chairs. Dancers should make the most of the stretching and practicing area and warm up before class.
It is a fire hazard to leave buggies by the side door, if it is necessary to bring into into the building they can be left in the office if the waiting room is busy. Please be aware that you will be taking it through our stretching area so if the wheels are wet or dirty the buggy will need to be folded up or the wheels cleaned.
Stretching area
The dancers can use the stretching room or the corner of the studio before their classes begin so they can warm up or practice. This area is not for parents or siblings unless it is very busy so please wait in the waiting room. The area is for dancers only at no point should siblings use this space encase of injury.
When stretching please make sure you are warmed up and work within your own capability.
Under no circumstances should acrobatic tricks be practiced in this room.
Only dancers that are high school age can used the equipment in this are and only if they have been shown how to use it.
Please be quiet and consider those who are in class and those teaching.
These rules are in place due to Health and Safety reasons and must be adhered too.
Toilets
The toilets are located in the studio, therefore, if you wish to use them you will need to remove out door shoes and walk around the edge of the room. The water in the studio is not suitable for drinking.
Changing area
Located in the office is a curtain set up as a changing room for anyone who needs to get changed.
Covid - 19
It is essential that everyone follows the government guidelines regarding Covid -19 and that the safety of our dancers and families is our priority.
Updates regarding the procedures within the dance school will be sent out and changed when applicable. We do ask that if the dancers are showing any signs of feeling unwell that they remain at home. If dancers test positive for Covid -19 we must me notified and you must follow the governments track and trace procedures.
All dancers must be taught the importance of washing hands and using hand sanitiser. they must follow guidelines with regards to sneezing and coughing and follow social distancing guidelines.
TSD will complete a risk assessment and notify all customers and staff of the polices and guidelines that will be put into place as a result.
