Triple Dee Dance Studio Policy and procedures.
Please read these carefully and retain this for personal reference.
When you book or purchase any product or service from us, you are signifying your agreement to these Terms and Conditions. Details of Triple Dee Dance Studio terms and conditions, and times and dates of classes can be found on our parents pages too. It is your responsibility to make yourself aware of these.
FEES:
All places on every class must be paid for one month in advance. It is a basic condition of attendance that fees are payable on the 1st of each month.
We urge you not to come to a class without prior registration on our online portal as you or your child may be informed that they cannot participate in the lesson and you will not be informed if there are any changes or cancelled classes. NO child or student will be allowed to participate in any class unless fees have been paid. Fees not received within two weeks of the 1st of the month will be subject to a £10 late fee charge.
We are not able to accept cheques.
Returned payments and refunds: Triple Dee Dance Studio will make an administrative charge of £7.50 to cover unreasonably disputed credit card payments.
In circumstances where a payment is returned, Triple Dee Dance Studio we reserve the right to exclude your child until the amount of the returned payment is repaid in full, plus administration fee.
REFUND POLICY:
DANCE CLASSES
It is our policy not to offer refunds once payment has been made. Triple Dee Dance Studio cannot be held responsible for changes in participants personal circumstances which might prevent attendance.
We are unable to issue refunds if a participant changes their mind or does not come for any reason. We have waiting lists for all classes and your fees hold your child place in that lesson whether they attend or not.
No refunds will be given if a student is absent from class.
If a pupil has a long-term illness or injury, fees may be refunded at the Principal’s discretion. This does not include minor illnesses.
We ask for one months notice for children leaving dance and that months payment should be paid in full before leaving so we have sufficient notice to fill that place.
We reserve the right to cancel classes which attract insufficient participants. Should this occur, Triple Dee Dance Studio will attempt to offer you a viable alternative or will offer you a refund of any fee paid.
TRIAL LESSON:
You may request to book a single trial paid lesson in a class of your choice, providing there is availability in the class and your child has not previously attended a trial lesson for the same class. All trial lesson must be booked in advance through the Triple Dee Dance Studio office. Contact information must be given when booking a trial lesson.
“MAKE-UP CLASSES ” & ILLNESS :
In the event of illness or unavoidable absences, refunds cannot be issued lessons can be made up by attending a different class, subject to availability. These classes must be made up the week following the missed class and are only for the individuals in question and not a relative, sibling or friend. You must call the Triple Dee Dance Studio office to reserve your space before attending. Full or pro rate refunds or a transfer or voucher may only be allowed where the organisers reschedule or cancel a class.
Triple Dee Dance Studio reserves the right not to compensate for any classes cancelled due to incidents beyond our control. E.g. freak weather conditions, road accidents or the area being closed off by the police. Triple Dee Dance Studio will endeavour to hold a make-up class but only if circumstances allow.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE FROM CLASS:
Parents are responsible for taking their children to the class and delivering them to the reception area, and for collecting them from the teacher at the end of the lesson. Triple Dee Dance Studio cannot be responsible-for children that are not delivered to the teacher and signed in. To clarify, we do not accept responsibility for children left at the main entrance of venues or who enter on their own from outside any building or space that we hire.

You may contact us by calling and speaking to us in person on the relevant telephone number or email address found on our Facebook page, or on emails received from Triple Dee Dance Studio.
We may contact you by telephone, email or text. It is your responsibility to ensure that we have current contact details for you and a record of all adults authorised to pick up your child. You must also keep us appraised of any changes in the health or other relevant circumstances of you or your child.
CONDUCT:
Mobile phones, must be silenced and left in bags in the waiting area before entering class. No food is to be consumed in the dance class except water.
EXCLUSION
Triple Dee Dance Studio reserves the right to exclude students from lessons at its discretion.
In the event that we consider:
a) the behaviour of your child is disruptive or likely to put other children or Triple Dee Dance Studio staff in danger; or
b) your behaviour towards Triple Dee Dance Studio staff, other customers, or children in their care or our teachers is disruptive, inappropriate, consistently negligent (including late collection of your child) or likely to bring Triple Dee Dance Studio into disrepute, we reserve the right to exclude your child from any activity.
In the event that your child is excluded, no fees or deposits will be repaid to you and we reserve the right to seek payment of the balance of any fees due to us.
HEALTH & INJURIES:
Triple Dee Dance Studio accept children on the assumption that they are in good health and it is your responsibility to inform Triple Dee Dance Studio and its staff, in writing, of any existing or previous injuries or medical conditions suffered by your child. Triple Dee Dance Studio cannot be held responsible for loss or damage arising from errors or omission of information. Triple Dee Dance Studio does not accept liability for death or personal injury to any child attending Triple Dee Dance Studio or any activity organised by Triple Dee Dance Studio save to the extent that such death or injury shall be caused by the negligence or default of any member of our staff or any other default on our part.
PERSONAL PROPERTY:
Triple Dee Dance Studio does not accept responsibility for any loss of, or damage to, personal property belonging to you or your child irrespective of whether such possessions might be used by you or the child for the purposes of any Triple Dee Dance Studio activity.
CLASS OR TEACHERS CHANGES:
Triple Dee Dance Studio reserves the right to make changes to the timetable and to the teaching staff. We recognise the importance of consistency of the instructor, however, on occasions we may have to change the instructor and send in a replacement. All our teachers are fully qualified and DBS checked our class assistants are never left with children alone and are vetted before hire.
PARENT OBSERVERS:
To avoid disruption, and maximise class efficiency, parents are restricted from watching the weekly lesson. We request that parents should leave their child in the reception area of the building. We endeavour to invite parents to watch a show once a year. There are no circumstances where parents are allowed to watch at any other time without prior agreement from both Danielle and the teacher involved. If you wish to speak to the teacher or Danielle this must be done via email or by calling the studio mobile Monday – Friday 9.30 – 4.00pm.
BREAKS BETWEEN CLASSES:
* Children over the age of 12 who have breaks between classes or wait for classes to start are required to wait in the cloak room that is visible from the dance floor, the door should remain open and the receptionist on duty is available at all times for assistance should any child require it.
Children between the age of 10 and 11 years should be supervised during any break times when taking dance classes. It is the parent’s responsibility to put plans into place to find suitable supervision during break times and the child should be informed of this. Please inform your child’s teacher should you require assistance is sourcing supervision during these waiting times.
All children under the age of 10 are to be collected by a parent or guardian from the studio during any lesson gap times and returned for their next lesson.
PHOTOGRAPHY/VIDEOGRAPHY:
Photographs/videos may be taken to publicise the classes to the community and a video will record the end of year show. Should you prefer that your child does not appear in these photographs or on a video please advise Triple Dee Dance Studio in writing.
Comp Squad Terms & Conditions
1. In order to attend a competition on the Sunday ALL classes in the week prior to the competition MUST have been attended, the only exception is if you cannot attend one of your classes you must replace it by attending a replacement class on a Tuesday night.
If you are missing both Wednesday and Thursday evening classes then you will not be able to attend comp.
1a) As well as group classes you must also have attended your private lesson the week of comp you are welcome to swop your private lesson with someone else if you need to swop but this must be arranged between yourselves and both parties must agree to the swop
2. All comp tickets ordered must be paid for. When you have ordered tickets through me you have committed to pay for those tickets so please do not order comp tickets unless you can commit to paying for them even under the circumstances you need to cancel.
Once I’ve asked for final numbers tickets are non returnable or refundable so please double then triple check you can attend a competition - or be willing to pay for the tickets if something arises -before ordering tickets.
Some promoters will allow returns up to 7 days prior to the event but not all promoters will allow this so please do not assume you can return them once ordered please ask me if in doubt. Some promoters are now asking for deposits on tickets ordered and this will no refundable. These return terms includes ALL circumstances, illness, injury and covid.
2a) All dance fees must be up to date and paid in order to attend comp.
3. Please ensure you have shown Danielle any and all costumes you are looking to purchase. Beginner wear is to be a high neck long sleeved crop top in neon pink and black high waisted leggings or dance knickers. For other genders or identifying as we require a short sleeve neon pink T-shirt with either black leggings or black shorts all beginner wear must be inline with ADFP rules.
4. If you wish to smoke please ensure you are following the venues rules in where smoking is permitted ie outside the gates etc
5. Please ensure if your child is having some free time in between rounds around the competition venue they are covered up ie a dressing gown or clothes over their costume, are wearing shoes and you have 100% knowledge of where they are at all times most of these venues are for public use and not exclusive to the promoter.
6. Please keep our comp area tidy if any mess is left behind the promoter issues a £1000 fine to myself.
7. Impeccable behaviour and team spirit is expected at all times. Please ensure you stay at comp and wait for all team members receive their trophy. We understand sometimes you will have a valid reason to leave ie medical/work etc but if this happens please ensure you have informed Danielle you are leaving and said goodbye to all team members remembering we all should stay till the end if any of our dancers final when we can.
