Terms and Conditions

Behaviour

 - You and your child must treat all Woodhouse Academy members, children, staff and teachers with respect and consideration. Woodhouse Academy does not tolerate rude, offensive, or aggressive remarks and behaviour in any way. You must make yourself and your child aware of the health and safety rules of the venue and comply with the recommendations at all times.

 - Bullying, harassment, abuse or other inappropriate behaviour by you, your child or guests is strictly forbidden and will result in expulsion and such other legal remedies as may be available.

 - Smoking and the bringing or consumption of alcohol and the use or being under the influence of illegal substances is not permitted anywhere in our school.


Photo/Video Consent

When you select the photo/video consent box, you are giving Woodhouse Academy of Theatre Arts permission to take photographs and/or video of the student in question.

This grants Woodhouse Academy of Theatre Arts full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the school's aims. This might include (but is not limited to), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications.


Payment Terms

Fees, deposits and credits

 1.  A fee is charged for each class enrolled per month.

 2.  Invoices will be sent at the end of month for the following month, and are to be paid by the last day of the month i.e. Invoices for February lessons will be sent towards the end of January, and are to be paid by 31 January.

 3.  Fees will only be pro rata when a participant starts a new class part-way through a month.

 4.  Credits will not be given for non-attendance other than for the reason in accordance with Clause 11.

 5.  Fees are currently exempt from VAT.

 6.  We do not issue refunds.

 

Payments

 7.  Payment is made prior to starting classes.

 8.  All fees must be paid online via Class Manager using the link provided on the invoice at the time of application.

 

Register, attendance and absence

 9.  A register for each class is maintained by the teacher for the purposes of safety and security.

 10.  If a participant is to be absent from class, the customer is to inform Woodhouse Academy, giving as much notice as possible.

 11.  If a participant is absent from class for four or more consecutive weeks (or a complete block), a credit of 90% of the fees paid for unattended classes will be given on the evidence of a medical certificate. This must be provided within one month of the absence otherwise no credit will be given.

 

Late payment

 12.  The payer will receive written notice if payment has not been received in accordance with these terms and conditions.

 13.  Woodhouse Academy reserves the right to charge interest for any unpaid fees.

 

Right to attend, withdrawal and termination of attendance

 14.  If an invoice has not been paid upon enrolment in accordance with Clause 8, the participant will not be admitted to any classes until fees have been paid in full.

 15.  Woodhouse Academy reserves the right at any time during the term to ask participants to leave a class if any fees remain outstanding after the start of term.

 16.  Enrolment for classes will automatically be carried over and invoiced. Notice of any withdrawal from lessons must be received 7 days prior to the start of the month.


Monthly Dance Pass

17.    The Monthly Dance Pass allows students to access unlimited group classes for a set monthly fee based on the number of weeks we are open in the year, and split evenly over 10 monthly instalments (no payments in August or December). 

18.    Anyone taking advantage of the Dance Pass will be required to add their card to their Class Manager account as these fees will be taken via a recurring charge on the last day of the month. Card information stored on accounts cannot be accessed by Woodhouse Academy, and invoices will be provided so any changes can be made ahead of the payments being taken.
